Need hurricane snacks? Try these York County spots

As we prepare for Hurricane Florence to make it’s way to York County, you’re probably loading up on snacks to get you through. Or maybe you’ve already consumed the ones you bought, don’t worry this is a judgement free zone.

The grocery stores are turning bare quick, but some local hot spots have you covered. Remember, calories consumed during a hurricane don’t count.

Hey Sugar in Rock Hill will be open from 9-6 today. They have a wide array of daily products, but some highlights are sausage balls, candied pecans, caramel apples, cinnamon rolls, and rainy day sugar cookies (THE best), also the truffles are just delicious. Click here for a link to the whole menu.

On the Rise in York will also be open 9am to 2pm and then again 5pm to 8:30pm. They will have cinnamon rolls, breakfast bars, jalapeno -cheddar scones, blueberry scones, muffins, cookies, tropical chicken salad, pimento cheese, fresh summer bean dip, and more! Click here for their website.

Z Bakery in Fort Mill will also be open today 7:30 to 3pm. They have a large variety of treats that you don’t want to miss out on. Click here for their website.

Remember, don’t eat your hurricane snacks before the hurricane actually gets here. Some of these local goodies make that task really hard.
