What is a Pow-Wow?

A Pow-Wow is a chance for tribes to get together to celebrate who and what they are.

It consists of singing, dancing, drumming, and feasting. It is also a competition which allows each tribe to show off their particular abilities when it comes to dancing and drumming.
Prize money and/or ribbons are awarded to top performers in Adult Men, Adult Women, Teens and Juniors.The Pow-Wow officially begins with a Grand Entry and ends with the announcement of the contest winners.
