If racing fuel pumps through your veins, but you haven’t yet made it to the nearest NASCAR raceway, The Grove Racing Center located at the Hobby Stop might be the next best thing. The Grove Racing Center is a complex of three tracks dedicated to Radio Control Cars and Trucks. The race schedule is posted on the website at www.hobbystop.com.

Hobby Stop opened in Rock Hill in 1992. Brothers Jim and Don Faris have been supplying the hobby needs of people near and far for nearly 14 years.

Hobby Stop is a full-line hobby shop with a 3,800 sq. ft. showroom and three radio-controlled race tracks. It has radio-controlled aircraft, cars, boats, model rockets, metal and plastic display models, HO and N Gauge trains, science projects and supplies, telescopes, metal detectors and more. Hobby Stop also have your other general hobby needs, including a good selection of model paints and building supplies.

Hours are:
10:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday thru Friday
10:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday
Closed on Sunday
