Not open just yet, but expect hiking, mountain biking, primitive tent camping, picnicking, boating, and fishing. You’ll find scenic lookout spots along the Catawba and new access points to the river.

The Catawba River is a great place to opt outside. With excellent kayaking and tubing, you can experience light Class I rapids and enjoy plenty of nature along the river.
