Want to impress that special someone with your ability on the ice? Here’s your chance. Head to the Founder’s Ice Rink in Old Town Rock Hill. It’s right across from the amphitheater. Warm up afterwards with a sweet treat and coffee from Amelie’s. The rink is open all the way through January 21st.

Looking for a date night packed with old fashioned fun and history? Go to Historic Brattonsville’s Christmas Candlelight tour. You’ll take in all the history on this living history farm, see some cute baby animals, and be enamored by the twinkle of all of the candles on the property. The event runs from 3pm to 9pm.
Too cold outside? Snuggle in at this vintage movie theater. The Sylvia Theater’s annual film fest will be Sunday, December 9th. They also show movies Wednesday through the weekend and then have live bands almost every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. They serve beer and wine inside, so it’s the perfect place to watch.

Drive through Stafford Park in Rock Hill starting December 14th and 15th! This isn’t just a cozy, free trip filled with Christmas lights, it’s also your chance to give back to your community. The neighborhood is collecting canned goods, unwrapped new toys, and cash to benefit families of York County through Toys for Happiness. The neighborhood is right off Hollis Lakes Road in Rock Hill.

Head to Downtown Fort Mill on Saturday, December 15th for the Main Street Jingle Jam. Main Street merchants are ready to welcome you into their unique shops & restaurants and local artisans will be displaying their goods along Main Street.

No matter which community you are near there is a historic home tour for you! Clover, Fort Mill, and York are all presenting their Historic Home tours December 8th and 9th.
